Board President – JJ Griebel – Parent Member

JJ Griebel has been a parent at Webster Montessori School for 8 years and also attended a Montessori preschool when she was a child. Her eclectic background includes a dual degree from Becknell University in Math and Art History. Prior to becoming a mom, JJ implemented process improvement and measurement, surveying, and other special projects for a large insurance company’s software development organization. She has spent the last ten years in variety of volunteer positions including founding and running a local moms group, Scouting, fundraising, and teaching. 

Board Secretary – Nancy Peckham – Parent Member

Currently I am a parent of a second year Elementary student. I have been on the Board of Trustees for Webster Montessori School for 3 years as well as on the Executive Committee as Board Secretary for almost 2 years. My previous work experience includes working as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association for 9 years and working for Preferred Care, for 3 years in Sales. College experience includes 2 years at MCC.

Member of the Executive Committee. Webster resident for 33 years, Xerox Corporation Program Delivery Manager, 36 years (retired), Graduate of University of Rochester, BS, Organizer/activist in local community since 1972, including youth activiites and sports, local politics, School District/Town government assignments and local community service awards

Parent Member – Linda Lenston

Linda Lenston is a parent member of the BOT. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College, a M.A. in Educational Psychology and a C.A.G.S. in School Psychology from American International College. Prior to completing her field work in school psychology, Linda worked for several years as an individual and group therapist, and later as the Director of Rehabilitation on a long-term inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation unit in Massachusetts. Linda plans to return to work as a school psychologist in the future. Currently, she is the co-chair of both the Parent Participation committee and the Social committee at WMS. 

Parent Member - Sarah DiChiara

Sarah is originally from Niagara Falls, New York. She moved to Rochester to earn an electrical engineering degree from RIT and then received an MBA from U of R’s Simon School of Business in Finance and Marketing. Currently she works for Xerox in Supply Chain Strategy, however she has held previous positions in engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing. Tony and I are thrilled to have our 2 boys, Michael and Nicky, enrolled at WMS.

Parent Member – Ann Margaret Weis – Chair Marketing Committee

I was first introduced to the Webster Montessori School experience in 2004 when our oldest child entered Ms. Willow’s primary class.  Our youngest child is now a primary student in Ms. Willow’s classroom.  I graduated from Clarkson University with a B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and was employed by LaBella Associates as a civil engineer for 14 years.  As a licensed professional engineer I worked for clients such as the City of Rochester, Monroe County, and New York State Department of Transportation for the design and project management of urban street and highway projects.  I am currently a stay-at-home mom enjoying being involved in volunteer work in our children’s schools.  In 2007, I became a member of the WMS Board of Trustees and have been helping with the marketing efforts for the school.

Parent Member – Holy Salce – Chair Policy and Procedures CommitteeHolly Salce is a Board of Trustees member, joining the BOT in August 2007. Her daughter is a first year student in Mrs. VanVechten’s class. Holly brings 10+ years of human resource experience focused in areas including organizational development, change management, succession and development planning, performance management, talent and retention strategies, compensation and recruiting. Holly specializes in proactively identifying and diagnosing human resources issues and influencing managers to develop and implement solutions. She has a BA degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Saint John Fisher College.

Community Board Member - Theresa Seil – Co-Chair Policy and Procedures Committee

Theresa is the HR Manager for GE MDS here in Rochester; she has 20 yrs HR management experience and an MBA from Syracuse University. Theresa has worked in healthcare, advertising/media industry, financial planning and now works in the wireless radio manufacturing environment.
