Primary Directress
The Webster Montessori School in Rochester, New York is seeking a Primary Director, to take over a well run existing class beginning late August for the 2008 – 2009 school year.
WMS has a population of 130 children at the Toddler, Primary and Elementary levels. The School just celebrated its 40th year anniversary. It is a well established school, AMI since its inception.
WMS has a strong reputation in the community for its excellent work with children and its 4th year in its own building. Webster is a suburban town of Rochester at the edge of beautiful rural Upstate New York.

Lower Elementary Directress
The Webster Montessori School is presently looking for an AMI Elementary (6 – 9) trained guide to begin September 2008. Webster, NY, is in the upstate and Finger Lakes region of New York State. It’s a city of 250,000 on Lake Ontario with many cultural amenities. Come join the staff of a 40+ year old AMI school established in 1967 where we have supportive parents and a strong community. Currently our school accommodates approximately 130+ students ranging in ages from 18 months – 9 years and we are working to expand our elementary program to serve students from 9-12 years. The ideal candidate must be energetic, warm and caring, creative, have a clear understanding of the Montessori Method, and be able to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and especially the children. This position requires an AMI diploma and an undergraduate degree. A Masters Degree is preferred. We offer an attractive benefits package and salary is based on education and experience.
