Primary and Extended Day
Primary classes are for children ages 3 to 6 years. First and second year students attend 5 days a week from 8:45am to 11:45am. Students in their third year attend an extended session from 8:45am to 3:00 pm.
The Montessori Primary Program is a three-year commitment necessary for the total development of the child. The average class size is a mixed age group of three, four and five year olds. Children in all three age groups learn together during the morning, and the older children continue into the afternoon.
The more experienced children share what they have learned with those new to the group. Within a family-like atmosphere, the individual personality and strengths of each child are nurtured.
The children focus on lessons in the areas of:

Geography
